MGD was a french manufacturer (Merlin-Gerin Dauphiné), a subsidiary of Merlin-Gerin Enterprise, called today Schneider Electric. The feeding system is made by a ratchet wheel controled by a mobile part interdependent of the breechblock. This weapon is a blowback operated system.
