The 5.56mm kbk wz.2002 (or BIN from the name of its designer Binek) was a second attempt to re-design classic design assault rifle (5.56mm kbk wz.96 Beryl) into bullpup design. It was also master's diploma at WAT, made by Michal Binek under supervision of major Ryszard Wozniak. There was only a functional, fully operational model, with the wooden stock (cheap and heavy but good enough for a model). There was also a design of the BIN-21, more advanced and complex conversion system to change Beryl into bullpup BIN-21. Technical data length: (Beryl) 943mm (BIN) 760mm (BIN-21) 765mm weight without magazine: (Beryl) 3,5kg (BIN) 4,2kg (BIN-21) 3,6kg weight with 30rds magazine: (Beryl) 4,0kg (BIN) 4,7kg (BIN-21) 4,1kg barrel length: 457mm rate of fire: 720rpm
