Dreyse needle-fire revolver
F. von Dreyse, Sömmerda, circa 1865. Small model, calibre 0,35 (Prussian inches = approx. 9.1 mm), no. 5331. Six-shot cylinder, vine engraving on frame. Firing pin receiver with ornamental silver inlay. Manufacturer's name marked above the cylinder: "F. v. Dreyse Sömmerda", left on frame calibre size. Grip from finely grained walnut with delicate checkering. Butt plate with lanyard loop. Length 27.5 cm.
