Okay, so, which are the two main points of the Antys?

  1. The average citizen is basically non-trustable with a firearm, and must undergo extensive checks and licensing before being entitled to possess one.
  2. Police officers are always available to protect everybody, are efficient with firearms, and should always be trusted with them.

Tell it to Kenyans! :s25:

"Apparently no-one was injured during the shooting - all those he shot at, died," Mr Owino added.

Well, way to get people's hopes up and then cruelly dash them, Mr. Owino.

He may as well have said "No one was hurt, they just died"

Yep, but I hope you got my point...!

Safety or unsafety of firearms depend from the individual. Even in a total-gun-rights society like in the U.S., some people are not to be trusted with firearms (mentally ill, drug addicts, felons). Moreover, sttating that only cops are to be trusted with arms is a falsity, and such a gun policy would not prevent mass murders.
