Pandur II 6x6 and 8x8 armored wheeled vehicles:
After Austria, Belgium, Gabon, Kuwait, Slovenia and the United States of America, Portugal is the next country which placed its full confidence in the PANDUR armored wheeled vehicle.
The armament includes variants with Steyr SP 30 turrets and ranges from cal. 12.7 mm machine gun to cal. 120 mm mortar.

ULAN - Armored Tracked Infantry Fighting Vehicle:
The standard version of the ULAN is the Armored Infantry Fighting Vehicle AIFV which can be employed in various combat roles:
- Protected transport of personnel in different kinds of operations
- Engagement of armored vehicles and soft-skin targets
- Direct fire support to dismounted infantry
- Air defense capability against low-flying (hovering) targets.
This version is fitted with the two-person turret system Steyr SP30 which is armed with:
Cal. 30 mm dual belt-fed automatic cannon (Mauser MK 30-2)
Cal. 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun
Smoke discharging/close defense system
- The crew consists of 11 persons:
Commander and gunner (turret)
fully equipped infantry squad (8 soldiers)

Steyr SP30 Turret:
The two-person-turret SP30 is a fully stabilized 30 mm turret with a 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun and smoke grenade launchers. It is designed for use in all operational tasks of mechanized infantry. It can be employed in various combat roles:
- Engagement of armored vehicles and soft skin targets
- Direct fire support to dismounted infantry
- Air defense capability against low flying (hovering) targets
The turret crew consists of the commander (left side) and gunner (right side), the weapon system consists of a
- Cal. 30 mm x 173 dual belt-fed automatic cannon MAUSER MK30-2 with a nominal rate of fire of 700 rds/min
- Cal. 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun (e.g. FN MAG 58)
- Smoke discharging/close defense system (e.g. Buck/Wegmann cal. 76 mm)
The ammunition for the main weapon and for the machine gun is fed from inside the turret, thus from an armor-protected location. The ammunition supply for the main weapon is stowed in two magazines. Switching between the two ammunition types is possible without loss of time or ammunition rounds.

Keep them coming. When the new site is up you will be able to upload them direct to the site. Eventually there will be a great photo database of military vehicles.
