Re: "ARMAS TREJO" reopens after 40 years!

....I want to make a Danny Trejo Machete-BlackOps-Predators-ElMariachi joke, but I can't think of one right now.

Just google one and insert here.

Re: Whooohoooa! U-s-a! U-s-a! U-s-a! U-s-a!

Sounds like our guys weren't sent there to take prisoners.

Or leave witnesses.

Plus the symbolism of killing him with a piece of jacketed lead that cost about 10 cents, instead of a...

Re: TJ say it isn't so

I like hybrids. You can run on battery and do that Batman Begins thing where he drives the batmobile around without anyone noticing.

Re: Surefire Hi-Cap Magazines!

I don't know, it seems more likely to me that Surefire and Magpul are in a joint venture, rather than Surefire beating Magpul to production.

Magpul's patent application has been public knowledge for...

Re: Surefire Hi-Cap Magazines!

That price makes for one hell of a hard sell.

Yeah, it's less expensive than a betamag and the 60 rounder is a lot easier to carry, but the 100 rounder isn't, and it's almost comical to see in an AR...

Re: Okay, the picture is blurry as hell...

The US military tried that same concept in the 1970s with the Brunswick RAW.

As a gross oversimplification, the warhead worked, the rocket didn't. It was accepted into limited service, but...

Re: The BOBERG ADVANTAGE!

No you can't. You HAVE to load the rounds bullet first into the magazine.

The Boberg gets its long barrel length by the action stripping the round out of the magazine backwards (relative to normal...

Re: OMG! SCAR-L canceled!

Easy boys.

The Mk16 procurement was canceled in order to use the remaining project funds to purchase more Mk17 SCARs instead.

SOCOM has plenty of 5.56mm rifles, but not enough 7.62x51mm battle...

What round for hornets, guys?

So, what caliber of ammo do you think is sufficient for hornets? Before you answer, here's a picture.

And that's a small one.

Yes...

Re: Oh, PLEASE, tell me this isn't happening...

When speaking of the original film only, I still think you have to respect the filmmakers who created that movie, just because of the extreme lengths they went to make it happen.

Replica hinds,...

Re: Holy... CRAP!

Well, I was wrong. The Obama administration said that it was a horrible act of attempted terrorism.

Then implied that they believed he was with the Tea Party movement.

Oh wait, now there's this guy...

Been prepping for another multiple-month business trip to Asia, so haven't worked on the list much further, but I'm still typing a few things here and there.

The next few posts are detailing...

Re: Holy... CRAP!

I think we're just waiting for an Obama administration statement saying that it was 'in no way shape or form a terrorist attack'.

Just like all the other 'definitely not terrorist attacks' that have...

Re: So.... has anyone's 'zombie kit' changed over the past few years?

The suitcase is a Blackhawk ALERT 5. Nice and big and spacious, and as ridiculously 'tactical' as any suitcase can be. The suitcase contains (and note, the magazines and ammo described aren't...

Re: So.... has anyone's 'zombie kit' changed over the past few years?

Well, it has gotten to the point where, when it comes to bug-out-bags, people look at mine and think that you have to invest a ton of money into preparedness and such. I actually have to tell people:...
