If you mean the "Abbonati ora!" ("Subscribe now") section, it works perfectly for me, at least at this time; and so does the "Olimpia Shop" section, which allows the On-Line purchase of firearms-related books published by the Olimpia Publishing Group.

Other sections of the website haven't been activated yet. Be patient.

Default Re: CARACAL pistols in the U.S.

Well, there's always been a big demand for Foreign pistols in the U.S. Who knows, this could be the next Springfield XD.

What is keeping them from entering the U.S. market by now (and I have not asked since then, so take this as a personal assumption of mine) may be a wide array of factors, including the fact that the U.S. market is surely much more crowded with handgun proposals than any other (including the Italian one); the fact that the CARACAL managers might first want to see how their products perform both commercially and operatively on other markets (they always stated that they would have launched their guns on the European market BEFORE going for the U.S.); the necessity to find a distributor; and the fact that CARACAL may be forced to set up a manufacturing/assembly plant on the U.S. as the CARACAL-C (Compact) and CARACAL-SC (Sub-Compact) models would hardly satisfy the "Sporting Purpose" requirements to be imported directly under the provisions of the 1968 Gun Control Act.
