What is the diffrence between the KG-9 & the KG-99
There was one fixed frame version (like yours) & one with removable shroud (looks like Intratec AB-10).

Is this the diffrence between the diffrent designation 9 & 99?

The KG - 9 was open bolt. It was banned due to it's ease of conversion to full auto. It's very rare. The last one I saw for sale (only one I've ever seen) was going for $3.500 !!

KG-9: manufactured by INTERDYNAMICS OF AMERICA KG-Ltd. (way higher quality than IntraTec); long barrel w/h fixed barrel shroud, but above all, OPEN-BOLT OPERATION. It basically differed from the original sub-machinegun it spawned from (the INTERDYNAMIC AB MP-9) only due to the presence of a disconnector to prevent burst fire.

KG-99: same as above, but manufactured in CLOSED-BOLT OPERATION when the ATF/BATF/BATFE/ATFE complained about how open-bolts can be "easily converted" to full-auto.

You're talking about the KG-9 and KG-99 "Mini"; those were manufactured by INTERDYNAMICS OF AMERICA KG-Ltd. in extremely limited numbers, and were the forerunners of the following TEC-DC9M (a.k.a. "TEC-9 Mini") and AB-10 (a.k.a. post-1994 Gun Ban version of the TEC-9, both manufactured in way greater quantities than the KG-9 and KG-99 "Mini"). Those were essentially the same guns as the "Full-size" versions, with a shorter, threaded barrel, coming with no barrel shroud at all; an optional barrel prolongment with shroud and, often, a foregrip, could be fitted through the barrel threads.
