Thumbs up Yepp!

------
TANFOGLIO APPEAL

The first real long arm to be introduced by the Italian arms company FRATELLI TANFOGLIO S.N.C., the "Appeal" semi-automatic carbine has been displayed as a prototypal, non-named item for three consequent SHOT Shows before being introduced on the market officially at the IWA 2011 expo in Nuremberg, Germany.

The "Appeal" is an autoloading rimfire carbine intended for plinking and sporting purposes. Blowback-operated, feeding from a 10-rds or 5-rds magazine in all available calibers, the "Appeal" carbine is built out of FRG-reinforced polyammide, using carbon steel for the barrel, the bolt and the internal moving parts. Featuring a single-action trigger with a manual trigger safety and an automatic safety that intervenes upon the bolt to avoid accidental discharges, the "Appeal" is a bull-pup configuration weapon engineered with the greatest attention to left-handed and right-handed shooters as well. The reciprocating cocking handle can run on slots either on the right or left side of the "Appeal" carbine, and only needs to be unscrewed from its seat and screwed on the opposite part to achieve ambidextrous operation; an optional cocking handle can be purchased separately and installed as well for complete ambidextrousity, yet a little bit of practice has to be achieved first in order to avoid the cocking handle to slam on the shooter's face during the firing cycle if mounted on the "wrong" side. The spent cases ejection is ambidextrous as well, as the "Appeal" carbine features two twin ejection ports and is issued with a polymer plug to obstruct the one that is not supposed to be used, case by case.
Magazines are manufactured almost entirely in polymer, with metal springs and followers. The magazine button in placed in the lower part of the thumbhole area.

Fixed, adjustable sights are mounted on a raised carrying handle that also features a Picatinny rail for optics. A short rail is also integrated under the frame, for the installation of accessories. Sling mounts are integrated as well.

Manufacture has already started, and distribution is planned to start around Summer 2011. The TANFOGLIO "Appeal" carbine will be distributed in Europe by the manufacturer's distributor net and in the U.S.A. through EAA Corp.
