Wilson Combat ADP 9mm pistol
New for 2006 Wilson Combat introduces it's first production pistol, the ADP (Advanced Design Pistol) in 9mm caliber. Designed for concealed carry or law enforcement back-up it features a unique gas retard and buffering system which actually reduces felt recoil. The lightweight polymer and steel pistol has an ammunition capacity of 11 rounds and has an unloaded weight of only 19.5 ounces. The ADP is striker fired, has an ambidextrous positive manual safety and is delivered with two 10 round magazines. The Heritage "Stealth" is NOT the American clone of the ADP. It came before the ADP was first seen outside South Africa. It is still unclear whether it's just a "case" that the two pistols are so likely in technical organization (a pretty INTERESTING coincidence, if you ask me), but it's more likely that the South African engineer ALEX DuPLESSIS (that's what ADP stood for initially) actually spawned the "Stealth" into his ADP.
