Odd to hear from the one who glorified 6'5-Grendel and 6'8x43mm-SPC...

6.8SPC: Not really all that great a round... Although maybe a slight improvement over 5.56. I was suckered in the early days, but I'm no longer all that interested.

6.5 Grendel: A wonderful round, but unfortunately is limited by the policies of its inventer. I'll buy one as soon as I see the ammo at a local store.

Everything else generally sucks. The WSM and WSSMs? They suck. .45 Glock? It sucks. 5.8mm ChiCom? Totally sucks. 5.7x28mm FN PDW and 4.6mm HK PDW? Suck for everything but zombies.

Why ? "same" cartridge as the .45 ACP, with a slim grip for a sober and better carrying arms, no ?

I've never liked pistols that have thick (side to side), shallow (front the back) grips. .45 Glock makes a firearms grip fatter (since people like to use in in double stack magazines), but not as deep (front to back)... Resulting in firearm grips I can't stand.

It isn't an issue of ballistics, it's an issue of practicality.

I just can't stand stock Glock grips in general.

I have no problems with Glock grips, not even with the ones of the double-stack .45-ACP or 10mm-Auto magazines; what I can not stand is the pussy .45-GAP round; sorry Roger, it is NOT "same" as the .45-ACP, not one little bit.

I agree-- .45 GAP is to .45 ACP is what .357Sig was to 10mm.
I still argue nothing was ever to be gained from 6.8-- just another generations answer to what they all consider a .22 poodle-poofter round.
Although I'll argue with Uzi that there's onely two benefits two two WSSM cartirdges: .300 WSSM and .243 WSM-- both have signifigantly flatter trajectories and better impact ratios beyond the 300 yard mark. But they're still hunting cartridges and have no place in an AR, like .204 Ruger-- they're barrel throat burners and offer nothing better in terms of accuracy.
6.5's major advantage is likewise it's distance capabilities over something like .50 beowulf or .458 Soccom. However, it's "whisper" equivelent isn't something on the same scale as .300 Whisper-- but still a novelty toy.
Much like the .45 win mag, or .500 spectre, or any wildcat handgun cartridge that LAR and Wildley ever came up with.

If there's a joke to this boys-- I thought the Ruger SP101 was discontinued, long since replaced by the GP series pistol.
