Wink Ever wished to own a SA-80, guys?

Here in Italy, from September on, we WILL BE ABLE TO!

Well... sort of...

PARNISARI ARMS, a northern Italy-based importer, notorious for being the sole distributor of SPHINX and SABRE DEFENCE products in our Country, as well as being an authorized distributor of military hardware, has announced that, starting September, will be distributing the rimfire (.22 - Long Rifle) semi-automatic "trainer" version of the British SA-80 assault rifle as manufactured by LEI - LAW ENFORCEMENT INTERNATIONAL Ltd. of St Albans, Hertfordshire (UK - website under construction). The LEI SA-80 is in all aspects identical to the SA-80, with no significative differences other than obviously being solely semi-automatic in nature and for the chambering, being a sleek, funny .22 rimfire fed through curved detachable magazines closely reminding the ones made by Jonathan Arthur Ciener for its AR-15 conversions.

I know Mr. Parnisari and have already got contacts for a test of the gun for my magazine, as soon as the first samples arrive... can't wait to lay my hands upon one...

Ho ho, lucky doggy!

Too bad it's only in .22, though? A full fledged one in 5.56mm would be nice, at least as a curiosity.

Well, there's an American company, called PREXIS, that's preparing a SA-80 clone...
