On a side note, ED, still thinking to shut down your activity or what?

When having the opportunity to do something else, yes. The market is spiralling down in Frogland and I think we have not seen the worst yet.
More than half of the retail gunshop have closed the last 12 years and those left survive with less than 15 to 20 % of their activity directly related to arms.
Much less than 100 shops still have the licence to sell handguns.
France does not manufacture anything under 100 mm anymore, we became unable to manufacture a single light weapon and even replacement barrels for FA MAS may be made in Italy..

Question A side note about French firearms...

...some years ago, way before I could start my career as a gunwriter, I saw on a gun magazine (reporting from an expo, IWA I think) that MANURHIN had "introduced" two semi-automatic pistols called respectively "MP-Combat" and "MP-Compact", suspiciously similar to baseline (non-polymer) TANFOGLIO pistols, I remember.

Does anybody of you froggies (yurp! ) have pictures, specs, literature of the time, anything about them?
