From your little excursion in China, if I recall correctly?

I'd go there on business and charge it all to an expense account.

Yup! during a period, there was no commercial activity on shooting PLA weapons..
I started this topic here wrongly, I restarted it in the General Firearms discussion Forum

http://securityarms.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=3

I used most of the PLA firearms there, more than 20 years ago

Default PLA weapons shooting commercial activity...

...yep, I had heard that for a buck of $$ any Chinese or foreigner can go to a milbase and shoot till the cow goes home. QBZs on their way as soon as I get my ticket to Hong Kong...

I have been thinking about doing it for a long time. It's not gonna be tomorrow, but I was thinking to bring up not just a camera but a videocamera to make a detailed video. I was even thinking about those little cameras that the undercover journalists hide in their glasses, etc., if they wouldn't let me take one in (I still don't see the reason why they should not... my opinion is that no credited journalist has ever handled a QBZ-95 just because no credited journalist has still knocked on the door of a Chinese military base with some cash in his hands to try one out).

No but a journalist went to the factory where they supposedly made them. He didn't see one either. BUT if you go, get some pictures or even a movie I'll host them here for everyone to see. If you go and can't get pictures but actually see one fired or get to fire one yourself that will be good enough for me. I'll even see that any article you want to write on it will get published by some good gun magazines. Just seeing one isn't good enough you have to at least see it fire in select fire mode.
