DA DAAA!

It does exist as the Gardner Gun, Very similar to the Nordenfelt Gun having a slot of 5 barrels, Only more reliable, cheap and easier to manufacture. Basically im just trying to find a way to belt feed the thing.

I would rather use 2/3/4 barrels for it though.

After that, Mount it on Hummers, Tanks, Choppers etc.

After seeing a German 'Salvenmachinenkanonen', This came to my head. But it would be a tripod mounted weapon hence the recoil.

Holy jeez, this whole idea has become the... 'wacko-weapon concept that wouldn't die'.

Thumbs down

Just two points:

#1 - Of course, absolutely not man-portable. Not now, nor ever.

#2 - Its very same configuration makes it impossible to feed by modern systems. Do you see how does IT feeds? Five different ammunition columns. In which way are you fitting five AMMUNITION BELTS in it and making it work properly with ejection and all that stuff? All I have seen feeding by multiple ammo belts is a two-barrelled 20mm AA cannon made in South Africa, the two belts enter by the two sides and the spent cases and belt links are ejected downwards... and even then, the engineers had to work on it. A configuration featuring a third barrel (and of course a third belt) would already be impossible, how do you do it with FIVE barrels?

Yeah this is getting quite pointless, none of it is man portable, and by the time it's having to be mounted, you might as well use a full out minigun instead. The effect would be the same and the reliability higher with reduced barrel wear.
